What Is Coaching Really About?

Coaching is a sacred space of transformation — a guided journey inward, where clarity, growth, and self-trust begin to bloom.

I use a variety of methods tailored to your needs and rhythm. Some are rooted in traditional coaching tools, while others draw from the intuitive arts — embodied awareness, emotional mapping, and energy-based reflection. My work blends the psychological and the mystical — because you are both, too.

We usually work together for 5 to 7 sessions, depending on the nature of your path. Sessions last 60–90 minutes, and take place online — via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype, or even a quiet WhatsApp call. You choose what feels safe and right.

The first five sessions are usually spaced 7–10 days apart, giving time for reflection, integration, and the small “homework” tasks that gently open new doors in your daily life. The final session is a follow-up, held about four weeks after your fifth, to ground and bless the work we’ve done together.


🌿 The Journey Looks Like This:

1. Setting Your Intention
Most clients come to me not knowing exactly what they want to change — only that something inside is stirring. Or perhaps they want to change everything at once. That’s okay. Together, we’ll listen in, find the thread, and set one clear intention to guide our journey.
One program — one goal.
Remember: small shifts can give birth to powerful transformations. You don’t need to burn your life down. Sometimes, it starts with a whisper.

2. Gathering Inner Resources
You are not broken. You are not empty.
So many of us are trained to see our flaws first — to focus on what we lack, where we failed, what holds us back. In this part of the process, we rediscover your gifts, your strengths, your subtle powers.
What makes you strong in your softness? What have you already survived? What magic already lives in your bones?

3. Seeing With New Eyes
Now we look at your plan — your path — from all angles.
What pulls you forward? What holds you back? What stories do you carry that are no longer yours to tell? This is the shadow-work of coaching — gentle, honest, and necessary. When we understand our internal resistance, we stop fighting ourselves.
And when we stop fighting ourselves… we begin to move.

4. Choosing Your Path
There is never only one solution.
Together, we explore your options — not just what’s “logical,” but what resonates in your body, in your energy. This is the moment many feel a shift: more confidence, more grounded knowing.
You begin to trust your own rhythm. You begin to lead yourself.

5. Weaving the Threads
In our final working session, we create a map — simple, soulful, and doable. You leave with tools, rituals, and clear next steps, aligned to your strengths and values. We also speak openly about what might challenge you, and how to meet those moments with grace.
This work teaches you how to walk with yourself, gently but powerfully.

+1. Integration & Reflection
Four to six weeks after our fifth session, we meet once more.
We check in — where are you now? What has shifted? What has emerged?
This is where you begin to truly own the changes you’ve made. I hold space, reflect, and offer support for the next leg of your path.

As we enter the festive season, often filled with joyous gatherings, it’s essential to acknowledge that not everyone shares the same experience. Holidays can be tough. Financial struggles, mental health challenges, loneliness – these are realities many face, and reaching out for help can be incredibly difficult. I know this firsthand.

In recent months, my family and I have navigated our own set of challenges. As someone who’s always helping others, admitting I needed help was one of my hardest moments. But I learned it’s okay to ask for support, and it’s okay not to be okay.

🔹 Play Online: Engage in online games or quiz nights with family and friends. It’s a fun way to stay connected, regardless of distance.

This week, we delve into a fundamental aspect of our decision-making process — our core values. These are the guiding principles that shape our beliefs, behaviours, and, most importantly, our choices. Understanding and aligning with these values can profoundly impact the decisions we make and the life paths we choose.

Uncovering Your Core Values

First and foremost, identifying your core values is akin to setting your internal compass. These values are unique to each individual; they are your personal creed, representing what is most important to you. They could range from honesty and integrity to creativity and innovation, from compassion and empathy to ambition and achievement.

Once you recognise your core values, you begin to see their influence in every decision you make:

As we journey through this month of embracing change, we’ve explored various aspects of how change impacts our lives and the benefits it can bring. Now, I want to talk about one of the most powerful tools we can use when navigating change: mindfulness.

**Mindfulness** is the art of being fully present, without judgment, in every moment. It’s about observing our thoughts and feelings as they arise, and this practice can be an incredible ally in times of change.

Change is inevitable, and it often brings uncertainty, fear, and discomfort. But it also holds the potential for growth, transformation, and new opportunities. To fully embrace change, we need to do it mindfully. Here’s how:

**Stay Present**: Change can be overwhelming when we dwell on the past or worry about the future. Being mindful means focusing on the here and now. What’s happening at this moment? What can you appreciate in this moment? These questions help ground us in the present.

**Learn and Grow**: Change is an excellent teacher. Mindfulness encourages us to explore the lessons change brings, to understand ourselves better, and to adapt more effectively. When we approach change as an opportunity to learn, it becomes less intimidating.

The beauty of resilience is that it’s not an innate trait but rather a skill that can be nurtured and developed. One way to do this is by recognising and leveraging your unique CliftonStrengths. For those of you unfamiliar with CliftonStrengths, it’s a tool that identifies your top strengths among 34 unique themes. Understanding and applying these strengths can help you face change with more confidence and grace.

Let’s dive into how these strengths can aid in building resilience:

Yet, for something so ubiquitous, change can often be met with resistance, fear, and uncertainty. As I reflect on the theme of “Understanding Change” in this week of my personal growth journey, I’m struck by how our perception of change shapes our experiences and influences our ability to adapt, grow, and thrive.

Change is Inevitable

The first fundamental truth we must acknowledge is that change is inevitable. From the changing seasons to the natural aging process, from career shifts to personal relationships evolving, change is a natural part of life. Embracing this reality is the first step towards understanding change.

Change is an Opportunity for Growth

Change, despite its challenges, is an opportunity for growth. When we venture outside our comfort zones, we encounter new experiences, perspectives, and lessons. Change often pushes us to learn more about ourselves and the world around us. It can be a catalyst for personal development, allowing us to discover strengths we never knew we possessed.

Change Requires Acceptance

To truly understand change, we must learn the art of acceptance. It’s human nature to resist what’s unfamiliar or uncomfortable. But, resistance can lead to unnecessary suffering.
